The Creation of SWD Technology Solutions

SWD Technology Solutions is the sole proprietorship of Justin Park.

Trading began in 1999 when Gen Ki PC's CC was created, with members Munier Sydow and Christo Snyman, with the intention of forming a means for many small computer service and hard-/software suppliers in the southern suburbs communities of Cape Town to gain access to wholesale priced products direct from the channel suppliers (the companies which import products from all over the world), thus improving the supply and dropping the price for both the small traders and the end-of-line customers.

Gen Ki PC's acts as a non-profit organisation and receives a 0% commission from purchases through its network.

SWD Tech, as it is known, has over the past three years built up many links and alliances with firms across South Africa, in Europe, Australia and North America.

Justin Park is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE NT 3.51, 4.0), Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) and is certified to Global Call Centre Standards (GCCS).

He has been involved in the "IT industry" at large since his high school career, where he began by building computers for friends and the public, developed a customised database application for the school library (which remains in heavy use over 6 years later), custom programmed many system utilities for use by friends at school, and even provided printing services for school projects. Since those early days, he has moved on to successful ventures in Internet entertainment (online casinos, including Piggs Peak, Orbital, The Gaming Club, The River Belle and The Lucky Nugget, amongst others), e-commerce and fraud prevention, international customer services, desktop technical support and investment banking (Syfrets and Nedcor Investment Bank).
